Processing of personal data
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,
we care about the transparency of our activities, therefore, in connection with the entry into force of the regulation on the protection of personal data (GDPR), we would like to fulfill our information obligation and inform you about what results from art. 13 sec. 1 and sec. 2 of the general regulation on data protection of 27 April 2016 (OJ EU.L.2016.119.1), commonly referred to as 'GDPR', which is an EU law regulating the principles of personal data protection, which we have been applying since 25 May 2018. Since that day, our facility has been complying with the principles set out in the GDPR.

The data administrator is responsible for the security of the personal data transferred and for processing them in accordance with the law.
PURPOSE AND BASIS FOR USING DATA
We will use the personal data of children and parents obtained in connection with the children’s attendance at our facility for the following purposes:
- recruiting children, performing teaching, educational and care activities, including implementing preschool education programs and fulfilling our legal obligations. These obligations are specified in the provisions of law regulating the activities of preschools, in particular the Act of 14 December 2016 - Education Law (in accordance with art. 6 sec. letter c of the GDPR) and special categories of personal data, i.e. data on the child's health, medications taken - (legal basis - art. 9 sec. 2 letter a of the GDPR);
- use of the image of children, in the event that you consent to the use of the child’s personal data for the above-mentioned purpose (legal basis – Article 6 paragraph 1 letter a of the GDPR).
Providing personal data within the scope specified by the provisions of the Education Law is a statutory requirement and is necessary for our institution to perform teaching, educational and care activities. Refusal to provide them will prevent our institution from performing these duties.
DATA RECIPIENTS
While maintaining all data security guarantees, we may transfer your data – in addition to persons authorized by the Data Administrator – to other entities, including:
- entities processing it on our behalf, e.g. service providers and entities providing us with advisory services;
- other administrators, e.g. insurers.
DATA STORAGE PERIOD
We will use the data for the period of performing teaching, educational and care activities and for the period in which the provisions of the Education Law require us to store documentation.
RULE OF LAW
You can submit an application to our facility for:
- access to personal data (information about the personal data being processed and a copy of the data),
- rectification of data if it is incorrect,
- data transfer, in cases specified in the GDPR,
- deletion or restriction of processing of personal data,
- objection to data processing.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the law.
TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES
The data will not be transferred to recipients in third countries or international organisations.
