Bilingual Kindergarten Teaching Program

The goal we strive for is to raise an independent, self-confident and self-worthy young person. Our task as teachers is to support and direct the child's development in accordance with their natural potential and possibilities in relationships with the natural, social and cultural world.

Our teaching program

Through education in a Montessori environment, we want to shape in the child:

  • courage
    in thinking and in action;
  • independence
    in thinking and in action;
  • responsibility
    for yourself, others and your surroundings;
  • respect
    towards yourself, others and the environment;
  • mind
    open to exploring the world and discovering yourself;
  • skill
    coexisting with others in harmony, not necessarily in a spirit of competition;
  • creativity,
    that is, the ability to search for solutions to your problems and questions;
  • awareness
    yourself, your strengths and weaknesses;
  • convinced
    about your worth, faith in your own abilities.

We implement the program using Montessori developmental material. Children develop through individual, free work and activities in a circle for the whole group. It is very important for us to learn to work attentively in silence and to practice concentration and focus on selected tasks. They use appropriately prepared Montessori teaching aids and materials for this purpose.

“Bilingual” children do not learn by heart. We show them how to acquire knowledge, living in an age of easily accessible information. We teach them how to use knowledge for their own purposes. We shape people who are creative, thoughtful, resourceful and independent.

Our priority is the holistic education of a person. We prepare children for a life embedded in the surrounding environment, society and culture. We teach independent problem-solving, criticism, asking questions and searching for answers. We raise children to be people who are aware of their value and self-confident, but also disciplined, with a sense of duty.

Foreign (non)languages in the Bilingual Kindergarten

In the Bilingual Kindergarten we speak 3 languages (English, Spanish and Polish) all day long. Thanks to this, the cultural worldview of our charges is broader than that of monolingual children, who often think that only their language, culture and customs matter in the world. We make sure that other languages are not foreign to children.

We never force a child to try to speak on their own when they don't feel ready yet. Children decide when they will start speaking in a second language. In this way, we eliminate stress, fear and shame of making a mistake.

The educational and upbringing program is based on the core curriculum of the Ministry of National Education.
